How the guides are made

A ruled page and a red editorial pencil.
Guides describe the code as shipped, not an imagined casino rulebook.

Rules pages describe the games as they are coded on this site. History notes use well-established public facts. We do not invent studies, player counts or quotes.

Sources

Game rules come from the games as they run in the browser — paytables, holds and draw procedures match what you can play on each table. Klondike follows the common English-language standard (draw three, ace-up foundations, red-black tableau). History claims stay with widely documented items: Windows Solitaire (1990), Minesweeper with Windows 3.1 (1992), Concentration/Memory as a parlour matching game. If we are not sure of a first-appearance date, we omit it.

Re-checking

When a game’s maths changes, the page that describes that multiple should change in the same update. Otherwise the guides are evergreen; there is no news desk and no quarterly “audit board”.

Cards, a wheel fragment and dice in flat colour.

Corrections

Email studio@harbourplayroom.com with the URL and the error. We fix the page and, for a factual change, add a line on corrections. We do not run a fabricated ombudsman.
